ProtoForge Creations is a family-owned custom manufacturing business in Lexington, South Carolina — specializing in sublimation printing, 3D printing, aluminum signs, license plates, business cards, and personalized gifts. My name is Josh Hurst, and together with my family, we built this company from the ground up. Every product that leaves our workspace carries a piece of who we are.

Long before ProtoForge existed, I spent years developing an extensive background in manufacturing. I have designed and built military-grade electronics and wire harnesses, and I hold certifications across multiple technical fields. That experience taught me how to work with precision, meet demanding standards, and never cut corners — lessons I bring to every custom order we fulfill today.

My path has not been limited to the shop floor. I have also served as a caregiver and home health aide, supporting people who depend on others for daily care. That work shaped how I see responsibility, patience, and showing up when it matters most. It is the same mindset I bring to our customers: listen carefully, follow through, and treat every project with respect.

We created ProtoForge so I could care for my disabled wife and son while raising our other children to become the best people they can be. This company gives us the flexibility and purpose our family needs — and every purchase you make directly helps us provide for the people we love and grow a business we believe in.

I work tirelessly, day and night, to create the products our customers ask for — and I am teaching my youngest daughter everything I know so that one day she can carry this company forward. She is learning the craft, the standards, and the heart behind what we do, step by step, at my side.
